Newb Question (Plug located in truck bed)

We are going to the Kenny Chesney concert in Charlotte on Saturday. I plan on bringing the Margaritaville Machine to make drinks, and am curious if I could use the outlet or if I should bring my tailgating generator. I'm guessing that I need to bring the generator, but thought I would ask the question since I have no idea.

Thanks in advance for answering what is probably a stupid question to most.

 

Looks like their unit pulls around 450 watts. The truck might run it with the engine running but just try it out before you go. Inverter is rated for 400 watts and it would pulls 34 amps from the battery at max load. 450 watt load would draw 38 amps so there is a chance the inverter might trip but if load is for short period of time I think it should be okay. Let me know how it goes I'm curious too.

It worked with the truck running, but the blender was not running like it would plugged into a normal outlet... I cranked up the generator for the rest of the time. Made several pitchers of margaritas, daquiries, and pina colodas.

 

Sounds like best use of the plug I have heard yet!
