    Added a front camera and painted the emblem MGM. Also made a couple of changes to the retros. Swapped the Panamera shrouds for the Gatling gun shrouds and added a front halo

    Nice tnx for posting. Is there an option on these to be able to mount them closer to truck? Is that what u mean by drilling later. I like the look and ability to use as well to step up into. Wondering if they can be mounted closer up against truck? Tnx in advance.

    I think if they were closer there wouldn't be enough protection to the rocker panels and doors (which is one of the benefits of sliders). As far as the drilling, they require 6 bolts to be drilled into the bottom of the frame to be used as true sliders (which would allow the weight of the truck to rest on them, on a boulder for example, also will allow me to use a hi-lift jack to lift the truck). Right now, they are just strong enough to be used as steps since I haven't added the rest of the bolts. Hope this helps.

    I hear what u saying and taking that info into account. But...... still wondering...... is there a way to mount closer to truck if I decided to go that route with them? I hear ya on sacrificing up some protection by going closer, but I'm curious if that's possible if someone decided to sacrifice some protection to bring them in closer? Tnx for all the info so far, but I can't help but wonder and want to know if that's possible or not with them. Is it they mount in 1 spot or is there room to adjust how far in or out they sit against truck? Tnx again

    They mount directly to the frame of the truck so there wouldn't be any room to go further in without changing the design of the sliders. You might be able to have someone fabricate sliders with shorter posts, but that would probably be custom work.

    Tnx Tyler for the info n getting back. That's exactly what I was wondering. I've seen sliders that sit real tight n look great, maybe at cost as u mentioned of some additional protection. Lot of times they don't offer much of step. So I'm looking for a slider that sits tight to truck but still offers a place to step on for wife n kids.

    Does look great. What are u using to paint? Lmk how it holds up with rocks hitting if chrome shines thru down road. I'm debating buying a chrome hood bulge with so many flooding market and painting mgm myself. I wonder how the paint would hold up against rocks hitting and if all that chrome would shine thru with each rock chip that hits.

    Paint it and have XPEL paint protection applied. XPEL.com I had XPEL installed on entire hood, bumper, mirror caps, w/s pillars, fenders, headlights. No dings, chips or errors.:thumbsup: The material is tough and super easy to care for.

    Tnx,that's what I figured. Lmk how holds up in month or so. Linex is great, tough as nails and lasts forever. I got my side steps and bed cover in linex. Great product.
