    Just scared the shit out of an old lady. She decided the best way to chose which gas pump to use was to stop in the middle of the road, block traffic and then turn the pump selection into a thesis project. She nearly hit the ceiling in her Prius when I double tapped the horn.

    Yes, all the original water lines are under the slab. This is the way to fix it, re-pipe the entire house with Pex. Out here we have no crawl space, basement, or attic so the Pex is routed through the HVAC soffit and walls. These are the start of the access holes to route the new Pex lines.

    They used to do something kinda like that. This has been a problem for decades, but back before Pex and other options, they would re-route up and over placing new copper on the roof. Problem with that is even though we live in a hot ass desert, it does get somewhat cold in the winter, so the pipes would freeze and burst on the roof.
    I'd really like to go back in time and find the guy that though putting copper lines under a concrete slab was a good idea and kick the shit out of him. Along with the cocksucker that thought it was a good idea to plant palm trees all over AZ just cause they would grow here. They both can just fuck off.

    I have a split level ranch and most of the plumbing is pretty accessible so I've been able to fix anything that's gone wrong in the past with no problem . The one thing that keeps me awake at night is my septic system which is original to the house. Although I pump it out every few years and add all the Ridex BS you're supposed to every Month, it bothers me that I cant see what's going on underground. :help:

    Yep, and they drop shit all the time. I cut the dead fronds off mine at least once a year, if you don't, they blow off in a good wind onto a car or the street. Luckily, mine are the type that doesn't get too tall and I can still reach with one of those chainsaw on a stick thingys. The real bitches are the tall types that get 50'+, super expensive to have someone trim those.
