First Post. Might as well make it a good one.
Anyone have a manufacturer for this bumper?
My luck is it is a custom fab.
It was installed on the Gen2 Russian Line-X Tundra many years ago.
I really love the look. Like the profile.

Has anyone seen a single swing arm (with a table) rear bumper for a 2nd Gen. I've found a brute force rear bumper for a 1st Gen but never seen one for a 2nd.

I've had an Iron Cross bumper for about 8 years and has been great. Customer service excellent.

    Expedition one bumper-
Took about 12 weeks to show up (as advertised). Great to work with on phone etc.
very well put together- very well packed out.
I wasn’t happy about getting rear ended but I was happy to not pay the a body shop for some bs aftermarket bumper and using the insurance money for this instead!

Good evening everyone, thanks in advance for any help. I think I've already got the answer by reading this thread. I am trying to solve the problem in the pic.

If I keep dragging this on the ground it's going to break off. I'm looking at a rough country bumper for a 2014 on. This truck is a 2010.

    Any thoughts?

Not to discourage you from going after market :D, but, I relocated mine when I snagged it on a rock.
    IMG_2566.jpg

Could just be a stop gap for you.

Also to directly answer your question, the 2014+ bumpers will bolt on no problem but the body lines do not line up so you can get rubbing between the bumper and the bedside. If you look at them the 2014+ all come to a point on the bottom where the 07-13 are more squared off.

Thank you! That is a very clean solution you have. I have been going back and forth about the pointed portion of the 2014 plus models. The reason I'm thinking aftermarket is also because of the step. The older I get the more important that will become. I climb in and out of there all the time. How hard was it to make the change that you made? I might do that on an aftermarket bumper

It took me maybe 30 mins all in. I dropped the spare, crawled under, and planned for about 15 mins then hit it with a 2" hole saw for the 7pin half of the plug and a dremel to trim the rest of the plastic for the 4pin half of the plug. It is held in there with the factory clip on the plastic. I did not get any good pictures but I made this markup for the cuts that I made. The purple line is the sheet metal 'frame' of the bumper under the plastic shell.

So, this is what I'm going to do. I did order a new bumper. I went with a DV8. It's got a deeper step and I will cut the hole just like you did. Thank you so much for the post. Exactly what I needed

Really like this DV8 bumper. Super simple to install. Adapting it for the RV connector was definitely a challenge. Used a Milwaukee hole saw and a Milwaukee blade for my sawzall. Did the final final cutting to fit with a carbide bit in my air grinder.

Looks like that took you a little more work than it took me :p. Finished product looks like it was meant to be there though good work!

So....maybe I'm asking this in the wrong place.......but I want to replace my OEM bumper with another OEM bumper...albeit an aftermarket one. Has anyone purchased from a vendor for these that they got good fit and finish?

Has anyone found a dual swing out aside from expedition one? Looking to not break the bank but also keep it somewhat slim. The expedition one bumper just seems to me a bit too bulky and heavy.

Installed a Nilight brand bumper today, purchased from Amazon because it disappeared from the Nilight website a week or so ago.

it wasn’t easy to attach, but I managed. Also, when you open the tailgate it just barely lays on the bumper when fully down.

Overall I’m really happy with it. I need to hook up the LED lights still, if anyone can point me to a resource for wiring them I’d appreciate it!

Bumper looks nice and price looks nice too lol. How bad is the tailgate issue? Did you do anything to mitigate it?

Anyone installed a 2.5 gen bumper? I know the contours on the bed are a little different, just curious if anyone had or even tried

Installed this Expedition 1 bumper over the weekend. Going to mount the spare tire this week when I get some extra time, and install some Baja squadrons for extra light. I'm pretty happy with it!

Good news people that have been waiting for it, Coastal Offroad has come out with their new high clearance rear bumpers for the 2nd and 2.5 gen Tundras. Check them out at the link below and use code SOCALTOYOTAS for 5%. Maybe we will get a group buy going for them if there is enough interest.
