Let’s see a picture of them. I want a new bumps setup over my airbags.

Thanks! The front 3 mounts are super simple and I'm pretty happy with the way we extended the frame and tied it in with the hitch.

Here is a stock photo from Google. Mine are the same, I just made new ones that are a bit longer.

Made a little more progress today. The rear boxes are built, I just need to get the lids made and get them mounted. The boxes will be easily removable in case they ever get damaged.

Made a little more progress this afternoon. Got the rear boxes and the front skirt done. I may end up taking some material off the skirt and moving the boxes back a little bit to make the wheel well area larger.

always love scrolling through your updates. I respect the heck out of your talents and skills!

Finally, I found something I disagree with you on. LOL.

I traded in the Overland tent and moved to a camper. I love it. I was looking at the nobo originally but an beyond happy with the one i landed on. Most importantly, the misses loves the new setup.

    Looking forward to more updates!

I just hate the trailer because I like to go way out in the middle of nowhere and I like to drive fast, definitely faster than a trailer could hold up to.

We got some of the finishing touches done today. We cut about 2" out of the perimeter tube and got the fenders started. These will be trimmed down a bit to match the skirts and boxes.
I also got a powdercoat quote for it today and I will probably not go that route, the price came in way high in my opinion.

The bed is pretty much done now. I just need to add one piece of plate to the front by the cab and add a way to mount the rear winch, both easy projects.

I tried to weigh it with my 660lb scale. It maxed it out right before it got off the ground. I'm thinking it's around 700-750, but I have a new scale on the way to check. Not bad really if you think about it. I read that the factory bed weighed 350, the old rear bumper was 150 and the dual swingouts and boxes came in around 100 lbs so combined it was around 600-650 ish and now I have another 1.5 feet and built in storage. And even though it's heavier, the weight is distributed better. The spare and tools are all forward of the axle.

It's actually on my supercharged single cab now. If you want it you'll have to buy the whole truck haha. But we can always build you a new one.

I've considered it. I think I am going to have my sandblasted and they spray it with steel it.

The final product looks unreal! Curious about the length, is it roughly the same as the pervious bed/bumper combo or did you give yourself a little extra room for activities?

The bed ended up being 7' overall. It's about the same length as the factory bed and bumper. The bed ends approximately where the spare tire was before.

I bet it will handle better with the tire and box in the middle of the truck and not hanging off the back.

That was my goal. I don't think I lost any departure angle or clearance either.

Flatbed turned out fantastic. I really like the side box design, good utility without compromising clearance.

Curious mainly as it doesn’t fit my current needs, but what would it cost to reproduce?

I'm really not too sure at the moment. I didn't keep track of any of that, but I need to get a breakdown of materials and time figured out because I have a couple of people interested in having us build more.
