The guys who got penalized by the medic flag should know better, ET rolled the jumps and so did most of the field. They do need to revamp it with some kind of lighting system along with the flag. Maybe a complete separate flagger in each section just for the medical flag ?

Anderson did it twice so he clearly never saw it. When Jett and the rest of the 5 or so people that jumped it went through, this is the only time I saw a video of it. The flagger had the flag just hanging there, it was not waving at all. When Jett went through the flagger with the checkered flag was waving it emphatically, like they always do, and then there was this med cross flag just hanging there. Never have ever seen them just hang the flag like that but may have not paid attention to it? Anyway I think the riders would have seen the med cross flag better if it was moving, even if a little bit. :notsure: Especially since the checkered flag was there as well

Totally agree, the intensity of the front runners along with a "stagnant" flag had to affect them seeing the flag.

Jett cut down hard, Friese was on Bams inside. Nowhere to go except lock em up and plow through Jett. Not saying it was right or intentional, just the way it is sometimes. Bam did right by checking on Jett immediately after connection and after race 3

Watched in St. Louis this weekend, not sure of the players anymore. Last time we went it was Ricky Carmichael last race.

Yep. Last night’s main was a great race. Except for Webb there was constant battle for position everywhere. Hoping for an interesting finish to the season instead of just a runaway. Certainly making for what should be an exciting outdoor season

Webb is on a mission and clearly has the mental advantage at this point. That dude has ice for veins. Gonna be interesting for sure

Is it just me or is this track a huge disappointment. Way too short and tight for 450s. Practically stopping for corners and that single into the whoops. Far from what we should see for the top riders in this sport. Looks like it would be a blast on a 125 though

KR had a brutal crash, I hope he is ok. Looked like his rear shock failed right before the whoops

Dang I was hoping everyone would be healthy for the outdoors. Now in one week possibly three big boys knocked out. But do not know what is up with Sexton? It looked like his left arm, maybe shoulder? An I'm guessing Roczens knee is pretty bad judging by the way he was helped off the track.

So three big boys maybe gone for the beginning of the outdoors. Total bummer.

    EDIT: Good news.....
KTM gave a quick update on Instagram about Sexton’s condition and it looks like he checked out without any injuries and should be available to race next weekend in Philadelphia.
KTM also said that a rock cracked the throttle body, causing the throttle to stick, which made him crash.

Imagine if he never had that crash that turned his arms into ground beef. If that didn't happen he could have possibly dominated for quite some time, especially in the outdoor circuit. Extremely talented rider.

Both of those crashes could ended so much worse for those guys. Tough sons of b****** for sure

If you were KTM would you admit to your throttle sticking because of a mistake on your part or would you say it was a rock that broke the throttle body causing the throttle to stick???:anonymous:

Neither of those are a good look. Bad design caused cable to stick. Bad. Dirt bike that can’t get roosted or throttle may stick. Badder. I think they need to keep digging for a logical excuse

I can speak from experience about weird shit happening. I had a rock break a PWK carburetor, it leaned out and seized my 250 two stroke, over the bars I went . . .
    LOL

Oof. I ain’t saying weird shit doesn’t happen. I just meant it wouldn’t sound good for the brand

I guess the KTM/an the others use a magnesium throttle housing and according to my friend it's pretty brittle. He broke on in a minor crash and it made the bike unrideable. I know KTM is all about minimal weight but it would be surprising if the factory team is not using a billet throttle housing.
