Chop up all the fixings, mix 2-3 eggs, put it all into a ziplock (get all the air out) and boil for 12-15 min

 

I was just thinking of how I'd do it because I don't have anything to sous vide with out camping. I'd use my griddle as described.

You can always try it in the house. Same results. No mess no fuss.

When we do group rafting trips, 20 plus ppl, we often do the boil in a bag omelets. Everyone can add what ever they like in regard to veggies, meats and seasoning. Write your name on the bag and toss it in. Hardest part is keeping an eye on your bag because even with a sharpie it's gets smudged and wears off in the hot water. Lastly, only use freezer bags for this type of meal. Regular plastic will melt with the boiling point of water.

Look at it this way,
There's a 50' dead ash tree on the next property, just off the back of the garage. And I pulled the truck in the back yard to change the oil.
It's still parked there and it's windy out. If it comes down, it will take out a section of our new fence, the side of the garage and the truck.
Since the oil change went perfectly,....I should probably move the truck.
