Haven't been able to be on much, we lost 2 people at work and, of course, rather than immediately post the job/hire temps/something, the powers that be decided that I and the other 2 people in my position should just do the job of 3 full time workers at once. So needless to say, my forum cruising during the day has been diminished.

But, I did see in the banned thread that it didn't take our newly minted Mod @LarryDangerfield long to use/abuse his new powers and register his first kill.

 

Yes, that's what I meant. They took the responsibilities of the people who left and told us to complete those jobs in addition to our own at the same time.

Had a fever yesterday. Went to bed earlier than usual. Somehow, turned off my alarm got the fun, and overslept a few hours. Still didn’t want to get up. No energy today. Pretty sure it’s the delayed onset of the allergy testing from Friday as she said if my body wants to start fighting it, it may take 3-10 days before it decides to. Yesterday would have been day 3

 

Even if I tested, there's no reason to for me. Dont see a point. I was going to take the wife out for dinner yesterday as it was our 19 year anny, but that wasnt going to work lol

I've mentioned that work sucks lately and that I've wanted a beer fridge for under my desk to help get through the day. Anyways, today was a everyone in the office day and one of the guys in my unit brought this in for me. I put it on my desk, pretty cool, the white square is a LED light and it actually gets pretty damn cold.

But my boss said I'm still not allowed to put beer in it.

 

Yes, completely unreasonable. And, thank whatever deity you like, it's not a cubicle. I'm in an office, my desk wraps around in a C shape, that's the curve part of the C.
