1st Gen. Lunch Table - General Discussion

Part of my problem I think, is the fact that I played in a mud pit up to my sliders a few months back. Which is when my bearings got toasted and why I'm doing this. Finally getting the gussets installed on the spindles will be a big plus though.

Where'd you guys source your integrated relays from and how much $ ?
Unfortunately, my 'fix' was only temporary. After the last rains, my power locks no longer work. Pulled the box out, disassembled, and it was past the point.

 

@shifty` favorite guy named Eric. He actually helped me with the part number. I'm the dumb guy, loyal until I'm a melted smoldering mess of poo on the side of the highway and even then I'll still wag my tail and ask for more.

Actually, honestly, Eric has never burned me. So I sorta feel like I'm cheating on Jason a bit by going back to him. But, f it, I get what I need out of the relationship.

the sequoia didnt teach you? Being heavy enough to use a breaker bar is recent for me. Most of my life i've had to bounce stuff loose. Get someone to hold the brakes, dont wanna break a fin out of the rotor.

No sarcasm. More poke than I'd want, only b/c I hate cleaning mud/tar/etc. sling off the sides of my truck. I like bullethole (8 or 10) wheels in alloy a lot.

I was trying to figure that out, I was thinking maybe they're coming down and mounting to the bed bolts.

Usually from what I’ve seen in the past you drill through the bed to get to the frame.

 

Got rid of my Visible home Internet setup, well I still have it but won't be renewing it and got some decent inerwebz now. Spectrum 1Gb Fiber. I've always been told Fiber is supposed to be good for you so we'll see how it goes.

I'll bet I'm paying almost twice as much as you at $68/month for 1/10 the bandwidth from Comcast.

I need to get back on the horn and negotiate down with them. I'm just kinda sad, wife got tired of the hikes and all but harassed me into reneg'ing our contract. In the process - and I warned her about this - we lost our grandfathering on truly unlimited data. We've nearly hit our data cap twice in the last 12 months. This is over wifi so not maxxed out on what DL speeds I probably could get, but ... I'd love gig. Just can't get fiber to my house without installing a pole in my yard or having the techs staple lines to trees.

Seems their game is to slowly increase your bandwidth and then charge you more for it whether you want it or not.

 

$60/month for advertised 150mbs down speeds. Usually get it. Upload sucks a dong. Typical for cable.

Huh. They’ve increased mine to 10 Mbps upload. At least my Ring camera benefits from that.

I think I may do it just to load up on paper goods, buy a chest freezer from them, and load it up with bulk meats.
