IMG_6097.jpg Picked up the camper from RV shop. It passed inspection. It needs some caulking on the roof which I told them that I could do that. Now I’m ready to go camping.

Our photo album of our Cabot Trail trip is posted up on our site now.

There are quite a few pics as this was roughly 2 weeks spent out on the road.

We had an amazing time visiting the Cabot Trail and areas in between.

Campers and the opinions on model to model are so wide ranging it would be hard to sum it all up. that said, I love these units. They have had a little trouble in newer years with some build quality, but honestly, most companies are facing the same issue. I was in love with the NOBO 16.1 and I went to the camper show to buy the 19.3 after I finally was ready to purchase. i decided to go a completely different route after the fact, for reasons that had nothing to do with their quality.

They are more expensive because they target off roaders. They are well though out with minimalistic approaches and offer a lot for 1-2 people. If I wasnt having a kid, I would have left with the 19'.

I will most likely be buying the 16' next year for renting out in my area, and for the occasional trips I dont need to be overly packed in for.

moral of my post, they are both solid units, depending on the features that matter to you.

2 nights at a waterfront site. Nice having the boat out and chicken wings turned out awesome.
Cannot post video but we have never see or heard so many loons in our life. They put on a creepy af sound show from all corners of the lake at night.

I'll get some better photos next week when we are camping....

But we picked up a 2021 Escape 19 Fiberglass trailer with solar, no decals, lift, storage box, manual awning, etc

    Very nice!
Those are one of the few trailers I would consider buying. Full fiberglass is the only way to go imo.

I am awful at taking the time for photos but here is a couple from our week of holidays in BC.

    Kokanee salmon were shockingly colourful

paid someone to drive us up the 1200m to bike down a fantastic trail.

Lonely old wooden water line along a river mtb trail.

I used to miss my overland setup and I really do still think about that trip across the country....

But this has been so much more enjoyable... And here is the most recent setup. Still debating what to do tomorrow, but that's a morning problem.

PS... Really thankful we were able to leave ahead of that the storm.

Went to Assateague Island last weekend for a couple nights. It was great camping weather, and we shot over to Ocean City for the County Calling Festival.
