Scary! We have a ton of trees in our city/neighborhood and I see squirrels and coons galore. Never had a one tear into my vehicles though. I'm assuming it's because we have 11 feral cats we feed that roam our property like a lion does its territory.

Well, 1UP......I'm sitting here wondering the same thing. I was 'considering buying' another Tundra, but I'm almost done restoring my 1987 Toyota Pickup.....so, I might buy another 'fun vehicle'.....looking at a couple Corvettes.......but, my driveway is a little full (garage is definitely full), so, might be thinking on it awhile or until something "catches my eye".......

Red Squirrels are the devils favorite squirrel. I hate them with all my heart. Had a cabin and couldn't keep them out to save my life. New owner has the pest people over there literally every week trying now.

    Good luck, that sucks.

And for the first time, I don't mind feral cats as much.
I have maybe two dozens of feral cats around the neighborhood, I see squirrels and got possums in my attic three time (caught 4) but no vehicle damages so far.
I think cats are more trouble for those small devils than what the soy-bean meal is worth....

I just paid almost $7,000 to replace the squirrel-damaged harness for my 2017 5.7L Tundra. I usually keep mothballs under the hood and that has deterred rodents for decades. But I got negligent and didn't do that for the Tundra. Mothballs are cheap. If you don't mind the slight "funeral-home" odor, they definitely keep the rodents out!

I have 2 feral cats but they're lazy as shit. They just eat and sleep LOL. So I have to fix my own squirrel situation. Between my pellet sniper rifle and my trap I average about 20+ a year. Few years back they got into my attic around November when it was cold and it took me 3 months to get them out before any damage happened. From that point on they're banished from my property so I proactively take care if them as soon as I see them. Zero squirrel tolerance.....

Looks like the Gamo Silent Cat. I have the Gamo Big Cat. Similar rifles. Coupled with HN Hornet pellets (brass tipped) it takes down all the small nuisance animals I encounter.

This is the one I have.
I think this is the one he showed you.

Is this one, from Amazon. Pretty precise and didn't even had zero the rifle in. My biggest challenge was stepping down from my 50 cal to a pellet rifle LOL

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024XEXQS?ie=UTF8&th=1

And you can have mine for few weeks and sort you wild animals problem :) I am squirrel free for now so I don't need it.

1000 FPS brass tipped. Yeah it will kill a coon

Read the 3rd review by Darcy with test item included. They have good penetration for a pellet.

Next weekend, perhaps Saturday? I did the window switch myself today and debating of if I should adventure for the driver side handle in my own :)

Rats got my 2018 Tundra a couple of months ago. $5k for part and $5k for labor, but insurance covered thank goodness.

I had the pest control company out the next day putting four bait boxes around the house. We used to have cats in the neighborhood, but not anymore. I park in the middle of the driveway now away from the side of the house where I used to park. They don’t seem to like to run out in the open much.

Rats are easy to control with a good, sweet cornbread mix, mixed with baking soda 50/50. Leave a couple of cups anywhere you suspect they are.

That's very similar to my equipment. I actually live trap more than I shoot. What do you do with your live captures?

My ideal options are trap first and lead second :) I am not into the business of killing animals but is my property vs them :)

When I trap them I take them into the wild, like 10 miles from me.

I was transporting as well. Must have drove 30 of the little buggers last summer up the road in the side by side about 3 miles away. I swear they were making their way back. I think I'm going to start putting a little paint on their tail to identify them.

For bigger animals, like raccoons and possums, must be more than 5 miles.
They for whatever reasons, they can smell and track back from 5 miles out.
