The pizza cut welds I can live with, the fucking blobby mofo at the end for the clamp to hold onto is something big ugly though  though to be fair, the 4.5" intake Rey had that probably cost 4x more didn't have any retaining feature whatsoever there sooo....

Some of the chinesium bungs from Amazon seem like they are coated and required quite a bit of cleaning to get clean tig weld.
There are some 5 inch intakes that have 22.5, 30, 45 and 90 deg bends. Think they are about $75-95.

Oh, we just realized that on the SPEC sheet it says "Tacoma" and not Tundra (we are also working on a Tacoma project). Anyway, these are 100% the correct sensors and the correct scaling. The notes on the paperwork were transposed. The MAF sensor in the 05-15 Tacoma is not the same anyway, so you can disregard that note on the paperwork. Just follow the scaling and adjust for your specific set up. Thanks, this has been corrected on the build sheets!

I need traction bars, I have basic welding/fab skills. I found this kit that is intended for the diesel crowd. These should work mint with our trucks should it not? I need to add new u-bolts to this kit and possibly modify axle bracket; but seems legit other than that.

    What do you all think?

Good kit with stout tubing. I welded long shock tabs on the rear u bolt mount plates. Boxed the rear and front so they had more than 2 shear points. Bought new u bolts. The 48 inch bars are just long enough to get you just forward of the rear cab mounts which gives good articulation and inline with drive shaft for no binding.

Not that it needs repeating but I gotta say Mr. Sniv is awesome! He sent me a file for the new MAF BEFORE I asked!

Then when I got the sheet, sent ANOTHER!!!

    Thank you sir!!!

Also, the O2 sensor from Innovate came yesterday, I had forgotten about it & it came in an AUTOMETER box. Who knew AM owned them?

    lol

I'm tied up at work, planning on getting logs at lunch in about an hour. I'll send them to the man & he'll do his magic/make his conclusions.

Didn't realize I was the guinea pig, cool!

    :p

They say one should learn 1 thing a day, so far I'm at 2!

The term "guinea pig" comes from the fact that guinea pigs were sold in 16th-century England for one guinea, which was an old English coin. Some believe the term "guinea" comes from the word "guinea", which was sometimes used to describe things that were far across the sea. For example, guinea pigs may have traveled to Europe on ships that stopped at ports in either Guiana in South America or Guinea in Africa

In the 18th century guinea pigs began to be used by medical researchers as laboratory animals because they have many biological similarities to humans, thus the origin of the phrase 'being a guinea pig' in research.

Yes you are the "guinea pig". Was going to pull the trigger but then realised it's running ok...But occasionally hit the roof. Hah
And thank you for the history lesson. I learned something new! We'll be standing by.

Sniv said the TurboKits MAF is doing a great job keeping the voltage where it belongs & after 2 revisions I'm close to where I need to be, no P0101 since it went in.

    WOOT!

Finally ran a stock Tundra.. '20 CM Limited. From a ~30mph hit it was murder and it gave me a grin as I'm used to the power at this point. We stopped at the next light in Mexico and he gave me a thumbs up and said all he heard was blower whine and saw my front end lift. Please continue on with providing great reading material in said thread
