What have you done to your 1st gen Tundra today?

No traction control on my 06.

 

Only the Sequoias and DCs

 

Mine doesn’t

 

I thought there were special MC's for trac/stability controlled trucks.

 

To my understanding it's all sequoias and some DCs

Yeah in 2017 there were crescents all over the ground, filtering through the leaves of the trees. I couldn't find any pics, and we weren't in totality enough here to show my wife. Thats super cool to me that it does that

 

That lisle one looks pretty good. But if nothing else, even this one for $8 at HF is really a great thing for so many purposes.

Correct. They called it Vehicle Stability Control back then. VSC. I think it was part of the "freak" master cylinder auto LSD. But some trucks possibly had a separate button for the VSC @shifty` seemed to indicate that in this thread.

It’s all manufactured inflation too. Here’s a great example taken from Reddit this week. I tend to save these when they spotlight ways corporate greed is driving or fueling inflation, when they jack prices beyond reasonable levels. Hence “greedflation”. And they’ve got the media projecting it on Washington to distract you from their shenanigans because it’s easy to do and people have been trained to be gullible. Don’t believe the hype, they’re all using computer algorithms to figure out the make-or-break price point for everydamnthing that the common person must buy these days, from a roof over your head to food in your stomach. Buckle up, it’s only going to get worse, welcome to the future where technology is king, and formulas or AI makes all the decisions, coldly, without regard for human dignity.

Yeah that cone looks cool. Have used the tube alone without the cone and it can be both useful for when need it to curve around something but less useful in some cases because isn't rigid. Nice find on that lisle tool.

Ill be hitting some trails around utah for 2 weeks so ill definitely let you guys know how they feel. I might even bring my stock ones out with me as well just for comparison

 

Started pulling me steering rack today, easy easy except the steering shaft. Put some penetrating oil on and leaving it overnight. Plan to come back tomorrow with heat and something to pry between the rack and the coupler. Any other suggestions for getting it to move?

 

I'd be a little nervous throwing a hammer at that.

dont forget to lock the steering wheel in the center. I think we used the seatbelt on bmf's truck.
