Platinum with color matched grill?

Are we talking grille or grille surround, aka "mustache" ????

 

I was talking mustache only, I got mine color matched like I stated above, you can paint the chrome ones

 

Sorry, forgot to quote the guy asking for black "grille." We cant get a black Platinum grille...only chrome or black chrome

 

are you talking about the platinum off road package one?

that one doesnt look that good at all, way too open IMO, the dark chrome looks pretty good after the stash is matched IMO. and the logo is blacked out as well

 

The Platinum TRD gets the TRD grille, not the traditional Platinum in dark chrome. @juntaomills asked a shop to wrap or pain his "grill". I just want to clarify what he means by grill because it sounds like hes being told to buy a painted or ready to paint mustache.

This is why I'm saying, you cant get a Platinum grille in "paint to match" finish, its either chrome (1794) or dark chrome....TRD package gets the TRD grille which is already black(?)

correct right now I have the dark chrome? And the shop is saying they can’t wrap nor paint the grille so just looking where I can get a grille that can be painted.

 

i am just looking for a black one or a grille that can be painted black. Not the mustache but that actually grille. Looks like a honey comb.

 

Dont think anyone will want to paint the platinum grille for you and offer any sort of guarantee itll last. Guess you could plastidip it, but that always looks bad a few years later.

That is such a sharp color man, with the contours of the body and the liner lines on the quarter panels it show highlights and darker hues all at the same time and that color blue figgin pops out.

Wanted to update this thread with what I did so far. Blacked the mustache and went with the Capstone grille in black, also got the Toyota Black, but kept the blue in homage to it being a hybrid. Also ceramic tent the front windshield 50% along with the passenger and driver windows and paint protection film on front half of car, door jabs and door cups.

I think it looks pretty good but still looking to find a shop to paint the original grille and just see. Thank you to everyone that helped out.

In fact, the stash is wrapped, but no one really notices that it is a wrap and not paint!

I need that front emblem overlay!!! Where did you get it? I want to nuke that chrome emblem for sure, and thinking about doing something with the i-Force MAX on the hood emblem as well!

There are more out there but get the gloss one, I got the flat/matte and it looked off

 

Your truck is what has me settled on eventually getting Brink wheels. How are they treating you at this point?

 

Thanks, link not working, but figured it was from eBay or similar! And agreed, gloss black is what I was going for and probably much nicer than flat/matte.

Honestly, they've been great, lots of compliments on them and different from the others (here in Canada) as everyone is running Fuel, Methods or similar wheels, these are somewhat unique plus customer relation with Brink Wheels has been nothing but great.

More recent pic with red caps instead of black, as these are my summer wheels, have a set of dedicated winter wheels with winter tires.
