Sup fellas, curious if anybody in the Valley has installed bumper shellz to do the chrome delete on their front bumper? I'm curious how the 3M adhesive tape holds up during our intense summer heat.

I've already pulled the trigger on a TRD pro grille, color matched surround and hood bulge. Pretty sure I'm going the bumper shellz route for the front bumper to save some $ but wanted to see if there has been any negative experience with owners in AZ.

I’m not in AZ, but I’ve had them on for almost four years now without one issue.

I've had the end caps for a few years now, the tape seems to hold up fine in the AZ heat. There's a couple of screws for added security on the back side of the bumper end cap. My only real complaint is that the covers create a gap/more space so it puts more tension on the parking sensors pulling it in a bit.

Just cosmetic - honestly I don't even use the parking sensors, they're always off.

Not sure if it's related to the heat or not but definitely got worse...
