I also agree with this. The internet is a huge group think tank that allows people to not think for themselves. Glomming on to other people ideals is easier than having you own. The term sheepole that we used as kids isn't even a joke anymore. It's a sad state of reality.

Got to work and found out the town has turned off water for today and tomorrow. Wish I had known before I came in. I would have filled some water bottles.

This whole situation is baking my noodle. If I showed up to work (any work) and my boss handed me a bucket, I’d fake a sneeze, blow snot all over him/her and tell them I am going home sick.

 

Down the road will have their water shut off as well. I can snag bottled water for drinking.

I think you misunderstand. The buckets are full of water already and it's not hard to fill the back of the toilet after you flush. I live in the county on well water and when power is out we have no water. I've grown up handling this, so it's just another day.

 

Also, they are having everyone work from home. I'm the obstinate exception to that because I refuse to work from home.

 

What's your position on office work?

Us: You need to stop holding up (i.e. make the progress payment) the vendor so they can finish their job. Then we can issue the drawings.
Customer: Blah, blah, blah… I need the drawings.
