You're definitely good on the ground clearance. It'd be great to have you join, but understandable if you want to wait. I can try to find another venue for later in the month, too, unless we have too much fun at Gila.

Yeeeahhh.... it's rough from the other end of the Basin™! I'm at the south end of Chandler so I can get to the trailhead in under an hour. We'll get some trail runs going on the north/west part of the area eventually. I need to get out of my east basin bubble.

Reminds me of last year at the Cinders. Bunch of the 1st gen guys salivating at the possibility of towing my 2wd Turd Gen out at go fast Friday. I said fuck it, didn't even air down from my 44psi towing pressure and made it no problem.
Only problem was when one of said 1st Gen guys decided to stop on the way out (can't remember who, so pick somebody and we can shame them). I'm sure my wife remembers me yelling "Go, go idiot, I can't slow down!" Anyways, he started to move and I floored it. Totally sideways and probably broke something, but I made it out.

I did spill my beer though. :(

Just been busy after Joshua Tree. Working on planning the next trip and finalizing my Coastal Offroad group buy so we can save people some monies. Should be making a new thread about that sometime today I'm thinking

    More details on tomorrow:

I’ll be arriving at the trailhead at 0830. If you are wanting to get there around the same time, let me know with a reply here. If you are showing up later in the day, great! Give me a heads up on an ETA and let me know if you are good to head to the camp site on your own or if you want someone to guide you down. No worries either way.

From the Boulders trailhead area, you take Cochran Rd north for a few miles and it will drop you down into the wash. Once you hit the wash, stay to the left and follow that all the way to the butte that will be on the south end of the river. One you hit the butte, follow that around to the right and it will take you into the camp site. (Black trail)

    https://webmap.onxmaps.com/offroad/share/content?share_id=01HTTKQ5FPJRK9DZX5EPRMFFBV

I also strongly recommend having offline maps downloaded, preferably on an off road app like OnX or Gaia.

Comms: I will be on 151.880 for primary comms. Cell reception is very spotty and will probably not work at the camp area. I have a Garmin InReach Mini for emergency comms if needed.

I sent her a little to hard here bud
Broke the clips off a peace of the plastic bumper cover going down sheep bridge
Seen some water and mud and guess the pressure from hitting it popped it off!
