What have I done to my 2.5 generation tundra? Trying to soften the damn seats, they’re harder than a honeymoon dick

Did the ride soften up quite a bit moving to C load? I was debating the Falken wildpeak at4w in 35x11.5r18 C load. Any idea which are the quieter long term between the two?

I think it’s more like 4 ugga duggas. The LCA bolts are something like 207 lb ft.

I just ordered those exact tires. Should be here Friday. Very hopeful they ride better than E’s.

I marked mine after the second alignment. So if it goes out again I’ll be able to put it back.

I have 0 regrets at this point. It (111) is noticeably smoother riding than my KO2 E-load (121) as well as my Blizzak LT (121). The Blizzaks rode noticeably smoother than my KO2 even in a 33 on 18" stock wheels. So going from the Blizzak to these C load ATiii / AT3 was a good test i suppose.

The tire does not feel under-rated for the truck. It steers, corners, brakes, without overwhelming the tires but i have not tried it at full capacity yet.

I have no experience with the at4w (or at3w) so i really can't comment except to say that the weight on the at3w turned me off and from what i read the at4w is an even sturdier / heavier build.

The Toyo Open Country AT iii (AT3?) in C load 35/12.5/17 allegedly weigh in at 59lbs which is a hair lighter than the 285/75/17 (33.9") KO2 they replaced at 61 lbs.

I understand i am sacrificing some off-road durability, but i have to be honest about where my truck spends 97% of it's time. I opted for more comfort this time around.

I had a gif teed up for this but I don’t want to catch a ban.

I’d still say put a wrench on the nut and make sure it’s tight. Some shops leave those loose as hell.

I just realized the nut side is stationary and the bolt head is what you tighten. Glad you figured out what I meant haha

FIRST OF ALL, those shoes are sick. Where did you get them?

Second of all, I'd love to see before and after pics, when you do it

Thanks. They're Brooks running shoes and I bought them at Academy. Very comfortable. They're probably no longer available.

I'm definitely getting after pics. What the truck looks like now is on my build thread sans painted mirrors.

    It's also a WOMAN'S 12, so it's more like a men's 8 and not anywhere close to wide.
