I’ll be down that way late next week. If it’s available I can grab it for you, but you’ll have to come pick it up.

An opportunity to drive to DFW?

I could drive up there and get it myself Monday or Tuesday, if I wanted to. There's not a fiber in my being that wants to go to DFW, ever.

Is it that different that Houston? I assumed they were similar. Both are massive with a lot of traffic and concrete. Or no?

If I needed a topper, I'd drive 4 hours to get that one for $200. Great deal.

Yeah, Houston is not my cup of tea either. I live about 30 mins outside it.
I'd have to drive 5 hours thru both Houston and Dallas from south of Houston to north of Ft. Worth to get to Texas Motor Speedway, then repeat backwards. F that.
It's not even white and I have a softopper til the perfect hard top shows itself.

Plus I've already driven an hour each way to look at two hard tops that were both just a waste of time and gas.
I can't imagine going 4-5 hours for nothing if it turned out they were concealing missing or broken glass.

If he's hooking into the edge of the diamondplate rail covers, it may actually be closer to 64½" wide.

I remember looking at a cap once from a T100 that fit the width closely but was a little longer than the AC bed. It’s at least closest to our cap size than anything else

Finally got my hands on a cap. Picked up this Jeraco mid-rise from some nice folks in Maine for only $320! Was a serious FB marketplace redemption after the fiasco I posted on here a couple weeks ago.

Overall I'm super happy with it. Need to throw in a new brake light, and just noticed the hatch is a bit off-kilter and has a slight gap on one side when closed, some rubber seals receding, etc. but very solid and still water "resistant" at least.

It's got a whistle at highway speeds which I suspect is from the aftermarket rack mounts, so I'll probably try and pull those out and swap em for rubber washers if they're not too frozen in there.

And yes.. a bumper is next, probably even a timing kit and some LBJ's as a treat if she passes state inspection again.

    Score!
If you're unsure of timing kit and LBJ's last replacement date, they should be top priority. You don't want to be another statistic.

This me if anyone has any questions.
It will be on my truck until a buyer is found, I might be willing to drive up to ~2 hours for a forum member.
