Finally got her out in Tahoe! Though didn’t get to trail much since we were out there for family events. But the little time I did get off-road the suspension felt amazing hauling over bumps and light snow.

However, I did notice a light clicking (somewhat flapping) noise from the driver side front while engaged in 4 hi. Does anyone know what might be causing this? The sound would increase/decrease consistently with my speed/load. Wondering if some debris might’ve gotten caught somewhere, yet I did not notice any sounds while in 4 lo. Going to take a closer look tomorrow!

Woohooo look what I found! Though not the culprit to the noise above.

This slipped off AFTER the trip to Tahoe with normal daily driving. No damage to the boot. Off to the store for lube and clamps!

    Sub'd.
We are in the same area, I would love to spot this beast in the wild. When I read the first post, I was going to post about Stellar, but after reading some more, I see you found em too. Jesse and Rob are awesome. Stellar did the lift on my Sequoia. Why did you decide to have the sliders done at Won Ton Taco Adventures? Are they bolt on or welded on?

edit, Nice shot of those big brakes you were talking about at 8.37 of the vid.

Yo! I’m throwing a meet soon, aiming for April hope you can make it out.

I’m pretty tight with Stellar Built and wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Jimmy (Won Ton) I actually met randomly on FB Market and he bought one of my items lol. Since then we’ve been cool and I’ve seen the quality in his work, plus his prices are unbeatable. I went with welded on sliders.

I still have the brakes if you’re interested.

Nice. Definitely interested in a meet, last one I went to I still had my Tundra. I can't use the brakes either, I have 17's too, but thanks.

I always hated the factory JBL audio in the Sequoia and always wanted to try those China Apple CarPlay head units since I didn’t plan to fully overhaul the sound system. Just needed an updated look, CarPlay, steering wheel controls, working factory reverse camera….and this unit covers all that. Also sounds 10x better after you adjust all the EQ settings.

This is the best $125 I’ve spent on this build lol.

Oh I also switched the knobs to AJT knobs.

What unit is that? I keep toying with getting something to gain Carplay but I don't plan to overhaul the speakers and I don't need anything fancy.

Yes it does, direct replacement. I had the JBL/navi unit so I had to also purchase the JBL harness.

Sounds like you won’t need the JBL harness then. Should be a direct replacement!

If you have JBL you need the extra harness. If not you are good to go

Yep I emailed them today. I read reviews on Amazon……..Awesafe replied to people questioning the harness and said to email them and they would send the right harness for them……..crossing fingers :D

awesome I appreciate it. Also for your headlights did you make a jumper harness for it or was it spliced? I found a cheap used test pair of the led headlights and I was gonna try and make a jumper harness for it would you also be able to post pictures of your headlight wiring for reference?

I actually followed this video for wiring my older 2008 lights to these 2014+ Tundra headlights. This guy's channel actually has a lot of great info on the work that needs to be done for the conversion!
