New Tundra Owner

Greetings from Portland, OR. Just purchased a new Tundra a couple weeks ago. It replaced my recently sold 89 Toyota pickup so I'm still getting used to the ever so slight difference between the two.

Can't believe you let it go! I kept my 2000 Tundra when I bought my 2019. Just couldn't part with it.

 

Yeah, I know... There aren't too many of the 89-95 4x4s around in good condition and you can literally beat the piss out of them. Even the guy that bought it asked if I needed a moment alone before he drove it home 2 states away, haha.

 

How many miles and what did you get for it?

 

~207K miles, got $10k for it. It needed some suspension work and the steering gear leaked (Swapped it 3 times, all 3 were faulty so I said screw it), but ran great otherwise.

 

Worth every penny. Great value to get after 35 years. Great value for the buyer as well.

 

Both great trucks... but WOW that '89!!! She looked showroom worthy!
