My county swells from 32,00 residents to over a 100k every weekend, spring break and major snow storm.

Having went to a national Forrest outside of Cody WY for the last total eclipse I will tell you the hype is likely real. Driving out from the NF south on a 2 lane hwy that should've taken 45 min to where traffic could spread out and head east/west or continue south took us almost 3 hours.

I'd love some photos of your stores shelves getting ransacked by all the locals before the tourists get there. The hive mentality always entertains me watching them get so easily hyped up these days. I'll never forget the TP craze when the Rona first hit.
