    I have a '16 that has 120k miles on it. I'm already replacing the rear's w/ Billy 5160's because I have 1 blown strut.

I'm wondering if there's a shock upgrade for the front that retains the stock springs. Or do I just get some 6112s?

    Thanks!

I see this post is over a month old.
At 120k, I'd probably go with the 6112. I'm not saying your stock springs are bad, but it certainly can't hurt to replace them.

FYI, the Bilstein 5100 front shocks would allow you to reuse your OEM front springs.

+1 on the 5100's if you want to keep the stock springs.

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. As Billy said, I'll probably snag the 6112's just for the new springs.

If, you wanted to retain the stock springs, you’d have to disassemble the existing shock assembly, to install new shocks, which I’m sure you already know.
I’d, go with the 6112’s as was suggested.
You, can purchase the 6112’s already assembled with new springs and make your installation easy if plan on doing it yourself.

@memario1214 has good prices on those and treats forum members well. Definitely worth reaching out to see what his cost to your door is. The 6112's come un-assembled, so you will either need to do that yourself of have a shop assemble them. Or you ask Memario about that since they are a trusted shop and his rates for assembly were lower than my local places, this way once they arrive you just have to install them. Easy peasy
