The problem is they bring me relief.

The shoulder doc wants to replace the shoulders soon, he says the injections aren't forever and bone grinding on bone doesn't help replacement.

Knee Doc would like me to wait as long as possible for joint replacements.
On average the replaced joints have to be replaced again or 'serviced' after 10 years.
The knee doc is in favor of injections, because he doesn't want to replace my knees at 60 and then again at 70.
I'll be on Medicare by then.

I appreciate your input, but I've researched and been dealing with this for a very long time.
My kids are now in their 30s, but even when they were little kids, I had to throw the football to them underhanded.
I couldn't and can't throw it overhanded.

I also have to consider recovery time.
Disability is $500 a week.
Even though my only debt is my mortgage payment, $2000 a month doesn't go very far these days..
Especially when I'm fixing to pay $5K out of savings to fix my cam tower leak on my 2014..

My house payment is $1500, this area has become like the one you left.
We will both retire in 4-5 years and move further out away from Dallas..

Ours is paid off, but this area of DFW (Plano) is a suburbia nightmare. I can work anywhere with high-speed internet, so when my wife retires we'll be heading out somewhere I can get an acre or two. I'm sure my wife will feel like granny leaving Silver Dollar City and I'll have to tie her to the top of the truck. She has been growing more and more intolerant of idiots and assholes (nevermind the one she's married to) and less and less enamored with Starbucks and Target; but it'll still be a test.

Yeah, on 10 acres. We built 2400sqft it in 2016 for $325k, refi @2% in 2021.
Trying to throw an extra $10K a year at it to be debt free
