I heard they were able to stop some traffic before impact but the majority of the people missing were a work crew doing maintenance on the bridge. Hoping they are all found safe, but IDK how one survives a splash into 46* waters and an entire road and bridge following right behind you. If this happened during rush hour I'd be looking at every photo looking for Mothman.

Do explain on the Mothman bit. I have only every heard of him/it in passing and don't know any of the mythology/cryptozoology around him. Causes accidents or something?

Not going to argue with your doctor, since I'm not one; but you should get some research done on steroid injections and osteoporosis; as well as what @T-Rex266 mentioned, that it could erode your tendons and ligaments. One or two shots a year here or there are probably inconsequential; but I'd have a squished up face if my doc told me he wanted to inject each shoulder and knee every three months. No bueno for Steven.

As far as whacked out conspiracy theories go. I'd guess it was more likely that the ships captain was just too high on cocaine to prevent running that bridge over. But I do like the whistler blower getting taken out via such massive endeavor.

 

There have been people who were going to testify in stuff that die in plane crashes. Way harder to say it's a hit when a whole airliner goes down and the body count is triple digits.

 

Exactly why I like the theory. When corporate gets involved it's always bombastic. Why can't they just operate like the Italian mafia and bury the nark in the desert?

The problem is they bring me relief.

The shoulder doc wants to replace the shoulders soon, he says the injections aren't forever and bone grinding on bone doesn't help replacement.

Knee Doc would like me to wait as long as possible for joint replacements.
On average the replaced joints have to be replaced again or 'serviced' after 10 years.
The knee doc is in favor of injections, because he doesn't want to replace my knees at 60 and then again at 70.
I'll be on Medicare by then.

I appreciate your input, but I've researched and been dealing with this for a very long time.
My kids are now in their 30s, but even when they were little kids, I had to throw the football to them underhanded.
I couldn't and can't throw it overhanded.

I also have to consider recovery time.
Disability is $500 a week.
Even though my only debt is my mortgage payment, $2000 a month doesn't go very far these days..
Especially when I'm fixing to pay $5K out of savings to fix my cam tower leak on my 2014..
