I can be cynical at times but I've grown to like Buc-ee's. Their unbelievable size is part of why people like them. When you're traveling it's a place you can stop and know you're going to get good food and clean bathrooms. The hardest part is going during peak times because I don't enjoy the crowd. Their marketing is also both amusing and ridiculous which I enjoy.

It works. I bet we spent $250 there not counting the gas.

Nope. Too far out of town. They're located like rest stops in rural areas.

You gotta at least be able to afford a car and drive it a significant distance without crashing to even get to a Buc-ee's.

That alone weeds out a lotta riff raff. Odds are zombified drug addicts can't stumble their way to a Buc-ee's.

That's a haul for some gas and bbq. It does save you 4% on gas prices though. Tough call here.

Isn't it nice they let you know about that other route? Often, I find myself wishing my day-long trips could take just two more hours...

Drove to Port Canaveral last week to catch a cruise. Planned on stopping at Buccee’s near Daytona but the cars were lined about a quarter mile back from the off-ramp so we pressed on.
