    Yeah, I did not know the market for these until like 6 months ago. Another member offered me a handsome amount for the shifter before I restored it. So I decided to restore it and try to sell it for a higher amount.

    Value is what someone is willing to pay, right?

    I can attest to the fact that purchase price (if you can find them) for battered and bruised originals is a lot of the cost right now. Time to actually source them probably swallowed the rest. There's not a ton of actual profit on the table here.
