Regarding gasoline lawn equipment, everything I have is gasoline still. Not that I'm committed to it, just that it is all running strong.

Certain things, as mentioned, I won't transition away from. Blower/sprayer is professional Stihl and does the entire yard without issue, no matter the leaf drop. Saws are both Stihl and are lifetime for me (one is an early 80's Farm Boss 028 that runs absolutely mint). Snowblower is the last of the American Ariens lines with a proper American engine that is probably another 20 years (or more if winter keeps down its current path). The generator is still gasoline because I bought it before battery and solar options really took off.

The Deere rider and the 20 year old Troy Bilt 4-cycle trimmer are likely the first candidates, but they are both running great, so I can't justify it.

Fuck yeah. At a young age this isn't a bounce back type injury. At 51 my struggle is real.

My wife does that. When I get enough oysters I'll freeze peck containers (25 oysters) shucked and submerged in their own brine. They get thawed and the brine is included in the broth. As good as fresh to me.

 

Fresh oysters make my guts angry and they initiate the purge in both directions. No problem with the taste or anything, but my stomach gets pissed.

 

Thanks for the reminder… gotta check to see if the brainiacs outlawed gas leaf blowers this year…
