Why did you go back to the original air filters?

 

Do you have a part number or link for the McGaurd on your truck?

 

Been looking at these for a bit, will probably order soon! Can you post a few more angles of yours? Down the sides to see coverage over tire? TIA

 

Mostly personal preference I guess. Of course you can find a lot of arguments between the rabid for/against performance filter folk, but it's just not something I need. Twenty years ago it was something I wanted, believe I had a K&N filter, but nobody is going to convince me that the performance filters don't let in more dirt with all that air. I'm not racing anyone, and hell I barely ever hit boost (except the hour drive into 30mph wind this weekend). My V8's with performance exhausts were fun, but this V6TT I'm much more reserved and boring so performance parts aren't much desired. Plus I don't wanna clean the darn things in the future.

I want ditch lights so bad. But can't decide on which ones and really want to operate them independently. Plus I want really custom/oem looking switches.

My first truck went rigid wanted to try baja out this time. kit from Rave came with OEM style button popped right in with my other buttons.

 

hurts seeing those baller ditch lights with the junk rave lightbar. Planning on upgrading?

Added a BakFlip MX4 to the new ride. Love the low profile. This newer model (and more expensive!!) seems thinner, lighter, and better made than my previous bed cover. The quality shows. The materials seem to be of better quality.

 

DIY Bed Divider / Organizer for the new Tundra. The OEM and aftermarket ones are insanely priced. Made mine with a bit of Texas Country in it. One 8 ft 2x8 cut to fit bed width (save the excess), cut that piece in half. Stain all three pieces. Buy gate/fence latch and four hinges. Mount latch in middle of two pieces, two hinges on backside of latch, two hinges on the excess. Get old truck plates or metal signs and mount to the divider. Looks great! Folds up for easy storage out of way.

 

Heh, wait 'til the plastic covers CONSTANTLY pop off the back corners at the tailgate.
