I searched but all I came up with was old threads about soldering in resistors to the OEM ones. Has anyone figured out/bought a replacement flasher setup that cures hyperflash?

You can't just replace the flasher relay on Tundras because it is electronic.

The best resistors I've found are VLED resistors.
They tap into the OEM wiring, no soldering is needed.
Just mount them behind the tail light.

I looked around about a year ago and I could not find an off-the-shelf LED flash module/relay to replace the OEM one. They are out there for many years of Tacomas. I wound up changing the current sense resistors in the OEM flasher module (up under the dash near the emergency brake in my 2008). About 0.15 Ohms is a good starting place. If of course depends on how much current your LED turn signals are pulling.
