Don't like the chrome...

I don't particularly like the chrome on my 1794. The chrome on the side mirrors is terrible, as it reflects the sun directly in my eyes. Is a solution as simple as ordering the mirror caps from a silver Limited and replacing them? I found this link and would do this in a second if it was an easy solution.

Yes. It's that easy or buy a wrap you like and wrap your existing ones, or buy overlays to put ontop of your existing ones.

 

Do they just "snap" off and "snap" on?
