We have had a 3rd gen Sequoia for well over a year and there still appears to be no movement from Yakima, Thule, Rhino, etc on making towers that fit them. Am I missing something? I know there are the Prinsu type options but that direction just doesn't work as well for our use.

Yakima has told me that Toyota completely reinvented the wheel with the design of the mounting point on the vehicle, but that was long enough ago that I question whether they are actually working on the new design.

    Anyone have any insight?

unless you're completely stuck on those brands, maybe you're out of luck.
but as someone else that can utilize a search function like @frichco228 can, i too have found (very easily) other options out there.

your request/complaint also seems to be very open ended since we don't know exactly what the purpose of your roof rack is being utilized for or style.

maybe turn the safe search off on your google search engine? :notsure:

Thanks Frank but that’s exactly what I am saying. All of the results are full deck, prinsu, hobo etc type racks. Nothing but the Toyota hoop type bars are available from any of the major rack manufacturers.

Andy, I’m looking for roof rack bars that mount to the existing points on the Toyota flush rails. I need to bars but a wider option than Toyota. On item we use frequently is a rocket box that will not work well with the westcot, prinsu, gobi style multi bar racks. So I’m really just looking to see if anyone has heard anything about mainstream aftermarket support for roof racks on these.
