Last year I bought a 15 Tundra Crew TRD 5.7 non flex at an auction. Great price but it was ran pretty rough by the previous owners. I have been fixing things that needed help this past year. recently the issue has been I’m getting codes, P2401, P2402, O43E, 043F and when I fill I get the quick click and it takes forever to slowly slowly fill the tank.
I have replaced the gas tank, charcoal canister for EVAP and the VSV. I smoked tested it and found no leaks… what am I missing here? It’s driving me nuts

Did you buy a new tank? There's a filler flap in the tank neck that can get stuck closed.

I bought a brand new tank, I keep the same filler hose. Meaning from where you put the gas nozzle to the top of the tank hose. I figured that hose was fine and the issue was the gas tank

Best of luck chasing all those codes down!

Thanks! I normally do pretty good but this one has me baffled.

I have a 2008 Tundra- it seems that if I buy after market parts- 75% of the time the part works but the code won’t reset - as soon as I buy a factory part- it works (my recent issue was O2 sensors)
If your vehicle is running fine (minus the codes) it might be the “compatibility” of the new part with your computer

I bought the parts from Toyota. Thanks for the tip though!
