Banks Pedal Monster...firmware update available

Firmware V14 was just released. I rarely open the app but I did for some reason the other day and got the update notification. FYI, the PM will not connect to your phone until you complete the update. I tried to do the update at work yesterday and it failed, which also caused my firmware to revert to version 0 and put me in stock setting (not sure if that is normal or not). Once I got home and connected to my wifi, the update was completed. The PM did go back to my settings.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I run a Hike IT XS the modes and features it offers are more useful to me.

Reading the release notes, the firmware mainly gives and improves functionality on newer year models.

I have had the pedal monster a month now.....does anyone else have surge issues? Mine does it between 30 and 50 mph....just curious before I call Banks

 

Nope. The only surge I get is when I hit a hole that causes my foot to slip on the gas pedal. Not the PC's fault.

 

No issues with mine either.

 

No surging here.

 

This is the case for me too…..otherwise no issues. Did the update a few days ago.

Open the app on your phone and it will have a pop-up informing you of the update. It tells you how to do it....very easy.
