Hey everyone, we’re expecting to take delivery on a camper so I’m putting our Retrax tonneau cover, Freespirit Recreation 270 Awning, and Leitner bed rack up for sale. All items purchased May 2023 and in fantastic condition with zero issues. Fits crewmax short bed 3rd gens.

The tonneau cover is lockable and fully retractable. This model has the nicer heavy duty aluminum slats that are rated to carry weight. The bed rack is specially designed to work seamlessly with the tonneau cover and the sale includes a ton of accessories that you can swap out depending on what activity you’re doing. The 270 awning is a perfect fit and freestanding so you don’t have to mess with poles and stakes (though they’re included in case of inclement weather).

I’m in Atlanta and willing to drive up to 2 hours to deliver. Posting here before putting it on social media in case a forum member wants first dibs. Details below — let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, this setup has been great. If we hadn’t gotten a puppy a few months ago and pulled the trigger on a camper we definitely would’ve kept it. I loved being able to swap accessories out on the Leitner rack as needed. And having a sturdy lockable weather resistant tonneau cover brought piece of mind whether running to the hardware store or when parked at a diner on a multi-week trip. The awning is pending sale but it’s been a solid piece of kit. Incredibly light given how strong it is. I believe FSR quotes it as under 40 lbs. This was my third awning and you can tell the attention to detail that was put into the design and execution of this one. I definitely recommend it.

 

So what’s left: the retrax tonneau and the Leitner bed rack?

How weatherproof is your retrax? I know some are quite leaky in rain, for example, and some are pretty dry…

The Retrax has met my expectations - I keep a fridge with insulating cover and air compressor in canvas bag in the bed and haven’t had any issues. I have seen small amounts of water at the front corners and along the sides near the tailgate after driving in a heavy downpour, but never enough to pool or run all over the bed. I’m not averse to following manufacturer instructions, always use a torque wrench and paint mark bolts to ensure they don’t loosen, and did my best to weatherstrip the tailgate, so maybe all that helped my cause? I just replied to your DM with additional info.

Any feedback with using the Leitner for Tonneau on off-road conditions? Manufacturer does not state a weight limit in off-road conditions.
