I'm looking too. My Northstar battery is nearly 10 years old and 'naturally' they're not available now. That X2 looks like it comes the closest to Northstar's performance.Resized_20210723_105245.jpg

I bought my Northstar NSB-AGM27F and installed it on 6-29-2019. About 3 years later it dropped a cell and the voltage went down to below 11 volts. Couldn't get Northstar to pay any attention to the problem without a documented test showing the fault (that I would have to pay for). I wanted an Odyssey battery but no stock anywhere. I ended up with an Optima (don't have the model number handy) and it has worked perfectly ever since. Recycled the Northstar.

Thank you! I really hate to recycle my Northstar . I had it for about 5 years now and it’s slowing cranking when I start. I’m thinking maybe going to get an Interstate battery. What do you think about this e batteries?

I love the Interstate from Costco. Have them on all 5 vehicles, 5-7 years easy.

And the best part is the pricing, can't beat their pricing.

The X2 was Northstar. Can't remember who makes them now.

Edit- I thought NorthStar was no longer around, but it looks like it is. So, maybe they are still making the X2 batteries.

I didn't think to look at Costco, probably should have. I went to Auto Zone first and asked about the Odyssey where I learned there was no stock anywhere. In discussing a replacement the guy there (I trust him, older guy with decades of experience with auto repair) suggested the Optima. So I really didn't shop around but will next time. Very happy with the Optima though. I had used Odyssey batteries in motorcycles for many years and they worked flawlessly for as long as 10 years so I was interested in going with one for the Tundra.
