My son calls our new ford expedition white rhino, so the tundra got nicknamed grey dinosaur

The person I purchased it from had named it Tobias. Instantly thought of Tobias Funke from Arrested Development and decided it fit pretty well!

Mine is collectively referred to as “the tundra” which helps differentiate it from “the ford” or “the Corolla (cross)” or “the Highlander”. So far it’s worked for me!

I feel the same way  still fun to troll.

Had a good friend in the Marine Corps who was from Texas. I’ve had nothing but good times in TX. I’m even headed there to see family next weekend. But man was it even more fun to see him try to physically attack me when I’d allude to TX being lame haha.

Life is short, gotta have some fun!

As I've never been a fan of naming my vehicles, in my family we refer to them as "the sequoia" and "the tundra." Nice part is there is never confusion in this. My wife did name the sequoia emerald, but no one seems to care...

Haven't really thought of a nickname for my tundra.
Will have to think about it.

So many Texans enlist in the corps... I served in Iraq with quite a few that I still keep in touch with today. And because Marines are always talking sh*t, here's one for the memories. Parental advisory; language.

I laugh at the opinions. That is the fun part.

Mine is still TBD, it was a name and then we forgot it and then we called it a common name that is listed here twice lol... For the last 6 months, it has just been called the truck or the thirsty B****.

We will see what I land on when the time is right.

i love this because I so far on the other side of the line on this one. This made me laugh. Also, chrome sucks. Especially in Florida/Texas. But, like beer, women, music, and food... to each their own. Its out there for all of us!

We have a 1973 ford 3/4 ton 4x4 which is called ‘big red.’ That truck refuses to die & it gets driven every day. The odometer stopped working 35 years ago. We also have a 1992 ford 1 ton 4x4 called ‘blue thunder’. It seems to have been sentenced to a life of hard labor at the ranch & the grandkids like to drive it to the bus stop in the winter because it has an on-off switch instead of a key. ‘Sally’ is a 1984 SR5 that all the kids & grandkids learned to drive with since it has a stick shift. . The granddaughters have named my tundra ‘Kevin’. The name is even on its key chain. The RAM that tows the horse palace to the area rodeos & ropings is called ‘judge judy with the big booty.’ I have no clue as to why our vehicles & tractors are all named, but it’s been fun so far.
