The gas pedal is like an inch or so behind the brake pedal I wanted to see if that was normal cause it barely moves back when I push the pedal down also this is my first time using this website so I’m still figuring it out

Take the punisher skull pedals off and move the floor mat out from underneath the pedals as it can interfere with the function of them. That wire strung directly beside the gas pedal needs to be routed better and secured. Also, take that $0.87 in change on the floorboard and vacuum that thing.

Your DC has a different pedal setup since it's drive by wire. The 2000 has a traditional throttle cable. His floormat is in too far and crooked, throws the image off.

Ahh, you mean it’s LOWER than your brake pedal. Definitely get rid of the aftermarket crap.

What's not correct are the goofy ass Punisher pedal covers and floormat sliding around. Accident waiting to happen. To answer your question, yes, that's pretty normal.

I just got it and I have to do some things to it before I can drive it so the floor mat and pedal covers aren’t my biggest worries right now

They should be. The floor mat is likely limiting how far you can push those pedals down and the pedal covers look slicker than the rubber, so your foot may not stay on the brake in an emergency braking situation. It is foolish to seek wise council and then dismiss it.

I didn’t say that I wasn’t taking the covers off and not fixing the mat I said I didn’t need to currently BECAUSE IT CANNOT DRIVE therefore my foot won’t slip off of the pedal if the truck doesn’t move

in my head. Itll take 5minutes (if your even remotely mechanically inclined) to pull out a floor mat and un-do some allens lol

Nowhere did you ever say that you can't drive the truck because of other problems. Again, yes, the brake pedal should sit a bit higher than the accelerator pedal. Clean that shit up and post another picture, maybe with some measurements and a tape measure in frame. Then you will probably have a definitive answer to your original question.

Fair enough OP, but it was the one question you asked, that was answered, and then seemingly dismissed. Likely just a communication break down. Post your other woes with the truck and see if the Tundras.com hive mind can be of assistance. Welcome aboard!! oh, and pics of the truck when you can, we like pics a lot.

Yes, the brake and gas pedal aren't supposed to be the same height. It's for panic braking situations.

What do you need for the truck to run? Got pics?

So my front left strut mount is broken and apparently the part needs to be custom made do you know if there is anyway to get this part without it being custom made? I’ll add a picture of the part

Did all of the damage caused on the left side steering and suspension happen to be due to a lower ball joint failure?
