Yeah, whats another 5% on top of the 13% sales tax we already pay.
Toyota Cdn. Numbers taken from another thread here one year ago.
So I expect the numbers to be more now.

    Months KM Price KM/Year
    36 80,000 $1,499 26,667
    39 80,000 $1,539 24,615
    40 80,000 $1,549 24,000
    48 100,000 $1,919 25,000
    48 120,000 $2,219 30,000
    48 140,000 $2,409 35,000
    60 100,000 $2,519 20,000
    60 120,000 $2,729 24,000
    60 160,000 $3,129 32,000
    72 120,000 $3,139 20,000
    72 160,000 $3,459 26,667
    72 200,000 $4,149 33,333
    84 120,000 $3,329 17,143
    84 160,000 $3,829 22,857
    84 200,000 $4,919 28,571

Patience needed if you are buying an F150.
the 2024's are being parked while they try too clear the 2023's.
very hard to hide an F150.
Ford can call it QC checks or waiting for chips. They are not going to load up dealer lots with '24's when many 23's are there.

I honestly don't think Ford cares. Once it's in the dealer's inventory, it's a sold vehicle from Ford's perspective. Of course, if dealers are not accepting 2024s because they have too many 2023s, that's another story as well.

At some point, Ford has to decide when to take the L on the 2024 situation. Do you just make it a short MY and reset by bringing the 2025MY to the market in September/October timeframe?

Hard to say. They should, though. They're bringing the 2025 Ford Explorer to the market pretty early on. I believe production starts in May.

    ^^ this part bolded.
Until Ford starts selling through "Amaz.." the dealer is what matters.
We know they have too many because it is Ford that sets the incentives and rebates for the dealers to clear these '23 trucks out in order to bring in the '24's
The dealers floor plans with lenders are also taking a big hit due to the reduced values of the trucks and higher rates.

Buddy from work has a 2022 tremor f150.
World of problems. His interior has been taken apart 3 times. Lots of rattles! He said he would lemon law it if it didn’t have an expensive wrap on it.

They jacked up the price of the 24 so much it makes the 23 look discounted. Thanks to all the dimwits who ran the Fed printing press for the last 4 years. These 70k xlt trucks should be 45. When my kids get older, they will read history books about what the middle class was

Who buys an XLT for 70k? Granger Ford's quote for a 2024 F150 Platinum with the 6.5' bed was $69k.

Yeah, this blows my mind. Back in 2011 November I bought an F150 XLT 5.0L SuperCab with towing package and other stuff for....$27K. Were it a CrewCab EcoBoost it'd have been $32K, I think.

Now the price has DOUBLED? Good Lord. I love the new trucks, but mine is paid off. That's the BEST mod.

Anyone notice that Tundra's come with rear wheel well liners and Ford does not? Neither does Chevy for that matter, its just metal. You can add them for a fee but comes on every Tundra, standard. Just an observation.

We've never really financed any of our custom orders unless it was under 1.0% APR. It just makes sense to pay cash these days.

I'm a fan of going back to the gold standard or having a "budget czar" that can unilaterally veto government legislation if it's not covered by actual revenue.

When the government prints money, it's modern monetary theory. When I print money, it's called counterfeiting.

It was probably the wrap causing all the rattles. Fords are perfect.

I paid $0 for my piece of mind warranty.
Into it 74 months now. Fingers crossed. Knock on Wood. 8^0
When Toyota offers me this kind of warranty again .....
Till then its a level playing field - features I need count.

LOL Funny. 8^0 You know whats really funny.
If I make this post in Binary - Google could translate no problem. 8^0
    Actually I am the dumbass.
I am an old school IT guy, a contrarian of sorts, and I don't like to use the animated expressions people use these days.
They are too easy ....one click....
These require 3 key strokes or more.
Translations starting with the one you quoted.

*^0 - hah hah - don't take me too serious (notice the eyes not fully awake)
    8^) - smile, happy, good
8^( - sad, not good, bad

IMO. You need to be part of some Cartel for them to want your money.
But when the Fed was doling out money to the banks to keep the economy from collapsing. And the banks couldn't hand it out fast enough, and even ignored suspicious income on mortgage and car loan applications...... well I'd take that money. As close as we got to Free money in my lifetime.
And I did take some, as a fixed rate mortgage. Two more years to either give it back, or invest somewhere and renew. But the mortgage rate is 8% now versus 1.6%.

I know a guy that has a f250 with small lift and tires. He’s fixing stuff all the time and complaining about things breaking and glitches. Has aftermarket radio. It’s used to haul and pull 11k rv.
