    Hi all,
Finally became a new Tundra owner. Sold the Dodge and got a black Tundra that I've always wanted. Looking forward to making some mods and learning from all the members here.

First mod I need to make in order for my wife and kids to get into the truck easier is some nerf bars. I'd like to go with textured flat black for my truck. Straight bars that don't go too low...Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I've found a few but not sure which is better quality. I've come across Westin, Go Rhino, ProZ, Raptor & Steelcraft.

Welcome from Illinois! Great choice on the color. As you know, there are a million different types of nerf bars, steps, sliders, etc. to choose from. Like yourself, I needed them to help my wife and son get in/out easier and purchased a set of Toyota step bars. They hang fairly close to the truck but still give them a steady platform to get in/out. I don't really offroad so they work well for me. If you plan to go offroad you may want to look at sliders. Hope that helps.

Welcome to the Forum. I like the Iron Cross Patriot running boards. Easy to install and they won't break the bank.
