I run the exact same: V2s in winter on the factory 18s. Nice ride, decent fuel econ. For summer, 275/60 Defenders on the 20 inch TRD off-road wheels. Equally nice. Great fuel econ, as low as 9.9 L/100 km highway (23.8 US mpg).

    I actually would've much preferred the 18" SR5 wheels over my 20" 1794 wheels. 20" wheels don't belong on a 4x4!

Looks great. Had many sets of LTX M/S, M/S2, Defender on many family/business vehicles. All excellent for everything but snow/ice. The V2 is an excellent tire as well. They've also been great on multiple vehicles including the Tundra. Where'd you get the 20" TRD OR wheels? I thought those weren't available in Canada?

I have a 2024 Platinum with TRD OR Package. I agree 100% with this. I test drove all of the suspension options (Standard, AVS, TRD OR) before making a decision and in my view the TRD OR ironically had the best road manners by a good margin.

Ordered from US dealership and had them shipped, cost about $320 US each. Think they are a $3k option in Canada now.

So I put my bed tent on today after getting the mid height UpTop racks for my DB cover. So basically added 175 lbs extra today. The ride is super smooth now even with the "E" rated tires at 41 psi.

Add a little weight to the rear and it will make all the difference.

That's pretty interesting. I'll really have to try putting some weight in the back and pay more attention. That said, I don't love the idea of driving around with extra weight just to make it ride better. It shouldn't need that for the issue I'm having. It really acts like a defective shock(s). I might have to book it in with another dealer and see if they can find something.

I think the idea of a truck is to carry things and leaving it empty would leave the suspension stiff waiting for some weight for it to support.

If you had 1000 lbs in the bed, it would probably be quite smooth.
