    Hi All,

just a little update on what I went through so far with the alignment issue and tire wear on my 2023 Trd Pro Tundra. So I noticed that my wildpeaks were wearing every 2-3k miles with not a lot of driving on them and certainly no off-roading. So I took it into the dealer twice they replaced the two front tires at no charge but charged me for the alignment which is b.s. but whatever. So after the second round of bringing it into them the tires started to wear again. And I called the dealer but this time no one was getting back to me. So I got in touch with my lawyer and under his advisement started filing for Lemon Law here in NJ. The first step is to send a letter to the manufacturer not the dealer so I sent a letter to Toyota HQ in Texas explaining the situation and that I am giving them one last opportunity to remedy the issue for good otherwise I will proceed with my filing of Lemon Law. Well I got a response from that letter and the service manager from my local dealer called me and I called him back and never heard back. So you can imagine this infuriated me. So I decided enough was enough and sent the lemon law paperwork through. It just so happened that a day or two after I sent out the paperwork I heard back from the head service manager of my local dealer and he wanted to fix the issue, so he ordered me all four new tires, no wild peaks but bf Goodrich and alignment which cost me nothing. He told me that the wild peaks should not have been the tires to use for the Tundras the rubber was too soft for the weight of the truck also the toe needs to be zero or as close to zero. So I will keep an eye on it and keep everyone posted.

You really have to get an independent shop that does this for a living.
IMG_0498.jpg Doesn't matter how soft the rubber is or any other BS.
If the alignment is done right and that tire rolls straight and perpendicular to the ground ,, the wear should be equal over entire surface

    0 Camber
3 and + on the Caster
.12 for a total of .24 of Toe is suggested from the manufacturer but if you run bigger tires,, suggested that you run less Toe based on the guys from ETD tire

    Here is my recent alignment
2022 with Kings 3.0 set at 1.5" of lift
TRD kid upper a arms and 37" Coopers

Actually is a factor with tire wear. Running Continental's on another car. Speed Rated A summer tires and they wear real quick under normal driving and about one track session.

You are correct, A soft compound, high grip tire that is made for a sport car and race track is a lot different than a Wildpeaks that Tundra comes with.
My point is that, the dealer blames the choice of tires that the Tundra comes with and not the fact that they can not perform an alignment per the specs.
The sad part is that, the people, sometimes, are looking at the dealers for an answer to everything
Unfortunately, we have to look for an answer and try to find a solution somewhere else sometimes, specially when your dealer rep ignores you for days
I really understand the frustration and pain this create specially when is the only car and your only way to get somewhere
