it’s getting tuned Monday to delete the DOD commands in the ecu and fix the throttle / fuel mapping tables for an L8T cam in an L86 motor. Till then, she rests. We’ll finish burping the cooling system, check the trans fluid level and finish bleeding the brakes. Battery is on the trickle charger too. Gotta be honest, it had a nasty tick on #3 when it first started up and I was worried, even though I figured the lifter just hadn’t pumped up yet. It went away around 3-5mins and my sphincter relaxed. Running butter smooth now.

It’s a Z71 6.2 SLT higher optioned model. Not sure if it’s got LSD or not. Have to check for the G80 or L90 code or whatever they use these days in the glovebox

My parts finally showed up. It's concerning that they have two different customer names on them that aren't mine... I hope the bagged parts are correct.

It's common to see that. It could be who originally ordered the part and cancelled the order or it's that name of the warehouse employee who ordered it for you order. I wouldn't let that bother you.

Good deal. Thanks. I've ordered a lot of parts but this is the first time I've noticed other names.

PCV is super easy on the 5vz. Why's it such a PITA on the 2uz? I should probably do mine.

The wire harness gets in the way. I need to cut mine to get good leverage and pull it out. Just need to find the appropriate tie wraps to replace the originals with after doing it.

I'd choose SKF personally just because I've used their bearings quite a bit at work with no issues.

My delivery notification from UPS came as being from “NA” via email before I got stuff from Serra. Then the part invoice stuff came thru. The part arrived the next day. Indeed, it was quiet and jumbled order, but fast to get here.

I’ve never noticed it before. Pretty sure my parts always had my name on em.

I was gonna answer, “it started right up”, then I saw the replies. I couldn’t post much today.

I’m surprised how long it took to ignition. Did you not kick the key on/off a few times to get the fuel pump to pressurize before starting up? Did you throw some MMO or similar into each cylinder for extra lubage?
