I am thinking about moving to the Tundra family.
I have a 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor, but the front end has gone out at 60k miles. The dealer wants 7k to fix it.
I am looking at a Platinum or a 1794. I liked the Tremor but it doesn't tow much and I don't do much off-roading.
My questions are these. Have you moved from an F150 to a Tundra? What do you like or not like?
On the Ford forums, a couple of good dealers are active on the forum and offer 3-6% under sticker discounts. Are there any dealers that sell Tundra's under sticker? If I can save a few thousand I will fly anywhere in the country and have a good road trip even if that total costs close to the sticker price.
I went to Karl Malone Toyota in Salt Lake yesterday and walked right out after the manager told me that they only sell for $5K over.

Yes, I went from Ford Lariat F-150's to a 2021 Toyota Tundra 1794 Crewmax.
My last F-150 went threw 3 transmissions. All I towed with it was an 18 ft boat about once a week in the summer. No off roads.
F-150 Pros - Audiophile sound system with the amp & subwoofer under rear seat. Heat & Air conditioning vents in dash. Steering wheel electronics controls.
Tundra Pros - 5.7 V8 power, easier to maintain myself. Dynamic cruise control. Full rear window roll down. Quiet ride & handling ( I added a TRD sway bar in the rear). Apple Car Play. The 1794 package with the leather seats beats F-150 Lariat package.

I am sure there is more.
Do not pay more than Sticker Price!

    Nitrogen filled tires!
Get on-line and see what is available and be willing to take a drive. You will find a deal you can live with. Anything over MSRP can be beat if you are willing to travel.

Plenty of dealers are offering under MSRP currently. I just recently bought a tundra and saved about 4500 off sticker. Was roughly about 6-7% off. You won’t find as good of financing offers through Toyota though. I believe ford is doing 1.9% for 72 months on remaining 2023. This is the only dealer I will buy from in Tennessee, https://www.pepperstoyota.com/
They have a few tundras for sale currently. But they didn’t charge any market adjustments when all the other dealers in the state were. Plus just top notch people to deal with, no pressure or anything to buy. I bought just wife’s 4Runner from them in 2022 and my tundra at the beginning of this month. Don’t pay anywhere close to MSRP or over, it’s a buyers market right now and dealers seem to be getting desperate. Especially the ones that charges a markup during the craziness of the last few years.

I had a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4x4 with the 5.4L V8 for 15 years. Honestly, it was a great truck and the only problem I had was one of the rubber boots over the ignition coil was cracked letting water in and misfiring under load. It was my daily driver and only ever took it on forest service roads for weekend range days and remote fishing. I switched to a 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax mainly because it was one of the few trucks available in my price range at the time....and I don't regret the purchase at all. Probably the best truck I've ever owned.

I bought my 24 Limited Hybrid with TRD Off-road and factory 3" lift last month for $71,872. Sticker was $77,222. Not a ton off, but I'm happy with the deal.

Pick what you want and then post asking people that have " your setup". Too many options to throw them in 1 bag. Understand non hybrid owners will slag the shit out of the hybrid for what ever reason on earth but that's keyboard reality . I wouldn't buy another without the Hybrid.

The laundry list of people wanking about common things with their trucks are probably about 2%.....kinda like a mob mentality.

After all that, just buy what ya want, doesn't work, sell it. Not like you just had a kid and are stuck with it.
