Hello just joined. Current Ram 2500 owner and will purchasing a Tundra hybrid soon. I had a 2nd gen 2011 Limited TRD several years back and can't wait to be back in a gasser. Currently looking at Platinum, Limited and 1794 and hoping to find a long bed. Help me decide! Thanks

The Platinum will have everything in it just like the 1794 and it’s probably 3-4 k more than a limited. You can’t go wrong with any of those choices because they all have the hybrid and long bed option. In my region it’s hard to get a limited with everything in it. I like the panoramic roof, the JBL stereo, and bed light package and in New England it usually has 1 or 2 of those options but not all 3. To me the Platinum is the best looking trim and has all the features you can get

What part of Tennessee you in? I’m outside of Nashville and I only buy at peppers Toyota in Paris TN. About a two hour drive for me but well worth it. They were the only dealer I could find in this state that wasn’t charging insane mark ups during the craziness. Solid dealership and solid people to work with. I picked up my limited long bed about 2 weeks ago and been happy ever since. It’s so damn hard to find a long bed for some reason. But having a short bed just wasn’t an option for me after coming from a Tacoma with a short bed. I do like the saddle brown leather of the 1794 edition and if I would have went with a higher trim I would have got the 1794. But the platinum is really nice. Unfortunately I was limited to one truck cause they only had one long bed, but I love the truck and it was spec’d with all the options I wanted and the smoked mesquite with the nightshade package looks real good together.

That's interesting I think I looked at that one online. I may have bought it if it was closer as I live south of Nashville. I like the smoked mesquite color as well. It wasn't my first choice but was priced right! How do you like it?

love the truck so far! Bed has been super useful and the power is amazing. Plus the tech is real nice. My wife has a 4runner and when I get into there it doesn’t seem right without the 14” screen in front of me. I came from a 3rd gen Tacoma so I wasn’t used to all that fancy tech. Would have kept the Tacoma had we not outgrown it as a family. Plus for business needs the longer bed makes things way easier. I would say don’t read into the forums to much cause there are a lot of naysayers about the 3rd gen and I know it’s had its issues but my 2024 hasn’t experienced any of them from what I read online. Fingers cross it stays that way. You’ll love the truck though if you do go through with your purchase!

Bummer, if it’s any of the dealers in south Nashville I wouldn’t be surprised. That’s why I don’t bother with the Nashville dealers anymore, they just like to play games. Hopefully you can find a deal that works! Keep checking Pepper’s toyota though. They have always been good on trade values and won’t play games.

Finally traded my Ram on a Hybrid Tundra Limited short bed. I made some concessions and settled on the cheaper Limited with short bed. Lost some options that I liked but much better value. Overall extremely happy with the truck. Daily driving is a pleasure now! Now just have to find step sides, tonneau cover and getting ceramic tint done tomorrow.

I went with airlift... I also did the onboard compressor... Had them for several years now with no problems... I wish I would have done it years ago... such a smoother ride when loaded... Any question just ask...
