This winter was way mild here. Only one hard freeze. Lows of low 40's the rest of the week, gonna be perfect this weekend.

Has anyone used one of those gauge overlays? I found a stainless one, but no pics.

Oh shoot! I thought i was the only one! I tried making a flying RC10 waaaaay back in high school. I attached wings and a gas airplane engine to the gold pan. I more or less made a Dumas swap buggy on wheels with wings. I accidentally got my left thump in the prop. It got two really good passed though the meat pad. I guess that makes us blood prop brothers?

Damn. I was thirsty as hell at work Monday at like 7pm, but needed something other than water. I went in the fridge, now all the people cleared out, and anything in the fridge is officially abandoned, I started rooting around. I found a Sprite and a bottle of kombucha that was strawberry-raspberry. Sounded good as hell, so I drank it.

Huge mistake, it seems. My farts have been absolutely obnoxious - like clear a room obnoxious, clear an entire building on big rips - and every dump I've taken since yesterday morning smells like someone I gave myself an apple cider vinegar enema or something. I've drank kombucha before, and I don't remember anything like this ever happening. I wish I remembered what brand it was, there must've been something weird in it.

I guess the moral of the story is, "Don't drink mystery kombucha", eh?

Any experience buying wholesale closeout parts from RA, like wheel bearings (from reputable manufacturer lilke SKF, NSK, etc.) or best to avoid these "deals"?

Yup, once. I got a smoking deal on a Dorman power steering air control valve, like $18. Retail is like 65, and OEM is stupid money. When it arrived, looked legit, had shelf wear. Had a sales slip for someone in TX that bought it prior. Feel like it had writing on the box, maybe the order #? Anyway, it’s super expensive and I generally trust Dorman so I jumped on it. I’m not mad about the scratch n dent vibes it gave off.

Oh and I found the kombucha. This shit wrecked me. It was either this or that Simply Orange with a two week old best-by date I drank. I drink Simply Orange sometimes and it’s never done that to me tho. And I doubt best by date had anything to do with it (smelled fine).

So an SKF rear Wheel bearing on wholesale closeout for $23? Seems hard to be damaged unless it shows up with a scratched or dented race /grease cover from being dropped on the concrete?

They don't seem to sell the SKF bearing otherwise so would have to go elsewhere for SKF if don't get this.

Interestingly RA does list NSK non-closeout for only $20 and also claims it is the O.E. Manufacturer (although maybe not OE part) even though I think people are reporting current toy bearings come in the box matching the SKF.

Maybe toy provided NSK originally then switched to SKF for the current part....

Missed getting the $101 part from toy for like $54 during the recent sale cause the site wouldn't process the order....

Still no tracking number from Serra. Did someone say the parts just showed up without any notice they shipped? I'm hoping that's the case.
