Replacing stock 265/65/17’s on stock 06 tundra 4x4. Any issue's going to 235/80/17’s

I like the look of a taller tire and the better traction on slick roads

I meant the better traction of a narrower tire on slick roads

Then I don’t see a problem. The 235’s are good up to 8” wide rim so as long as you aren’t running anything wider you should be good. The tire is a little taller but if memory serves, you are ok up to a 32” tire.

Never skip leg day! I wouldn’t run a 235, 255 will look better, pick your sidewall flavor.

I've never seen anyone run that size but I'm sure it would be fine. Is your truck only used on pavement?

    Personally, I'd want 255/80/17's

I'd really like to see a picture of a first gen running 235/80R17 tires on the stock wheels. Pizza cutters always look like they belong on a Toyota.

nice catch. It’s been SAS’d. Also full disclosure, I have no idea what size tires those are. But they are tall. And they are skinny.

I like gold, Gold or bronze wheels belong on absolutely nothing.

You fixed nothing. Gold wheels belong on nothing just like your sawzall modded front bumper.

    lots of dents
I'm going to take a wild guess that they're a 36.5" Michelin 900r16 XZL Tire? I've looked at them in the past to possibly use on my old Ford Highboy flatbed, but i don't want a tire that tall. In fact i don't want over a 33" on the truck...and the truck sees LOTS and LOTS of offroad work abuse.

300 hectares on single tank of kerosene
The only drawback is they only make them in a load range E. They are dually tires. I guess if you currently have load range E's, it won't be a big concern.
