    So I got a engine code p0156
Which is a malfunction of sensor 2 bank 2.
    Here's the situation:
I installed jba lth and removed the 2 front cats. It's been running like this for 2 years the only codes I got at that time was for the missing cats and nothing else.
I finally decided to get 3 inch mid pipes from dirtydeed with all 4 original cats, and installed stainlesswork exhaust. The codes for the missing cats went away, but now code P0156 pops up.
What would cause this and how can I fix it. Local toyota charges $1,000 for all 4 sensors for parts only

Denso part on Rock Auto, local auto parts store, Denso.com (I've ordered from them and got the wrong address on and they were able to correct it before it shipped out still made it on time, great customer service.), Stealership website +/-50% discount from the parts counter and pick it up at the counter or have it shipped to your door. Often its cheaper picking it up and you get face time with parts department. That's what I do.

    Cool, thanks for the info
I went ahead and ordered all 4 sensors from sparks parts for 580. I still don't know what caused this, I'm still not certain if this will fix the issue.I can't find a clear answer on my search on Google. Hopefully someone will chime in and help with this.

Shoulda just bought the 1 brother. Did you try pushing the pigtail back in?? sometimes they get fried, but if all you get is that code, odds are the rest are fine.

    Yes
I disconnected the battery and waited 10 minutes before disconnecting the sensor. All the pins were fine and I made sure that it was plugged in properly. I drove it a couple of times with my scanner and it popped up again

Ok, to me that's a sign that it's failed. I would just replace that 1 sensor and move on. I still have all 4 original ones from 07 or 06 when they were probably manufactured. My Celica has just 1 new pre cat o2 sensor since 02. I do believe if they fail with less than 100k miles they may be replaced under a warranty, not sure which one though, maybe emissions?

    They came in today
This the old compared to the new one. I'm thinking of replacing all of them since I already paid for the 4?

Thread is longer on the Toyota one... May be a clue. Choice is yours ultimately. Probably store the old ones that work in case you need them in the meantime, if you go through inspections.

    Well the code came back.
The new ones lasted a couple thousand miles but the code came back.

Here is a good way to troubleshoot them. since it may be a fuse, or wiring may be the issue.
