    As for ideas on careers, i ask them to start big and funnel down the ideas. If you know "affinity mapping", similar idea to help narrow focus.

    What interests you.
    What are you good at.
    Do you want to deal with people. Usually same people or usually different people.
    Indoor, outdoor.
    What could you do all day 5 days a week for months or years on end.
    Then start grouping, look for overlaps or similarities.
    Then look for what fields have those things then what possible specific jobs in those fields.

    That's just 1 way anyway.

    For example, mine maps out to suggest forestry sciences or lab sciences or engineering. Difference is the setting but type of work is potentially similar. (math & science with less people interaction)
