I need help find an OEM grill for my Tundra

Hello there. I bought my first Tundra yesterday. A white 2016 SR5 (TSS). It had a chrome grill, but I want to put on a matte black grill to match the rest of the truck. But all the grilles on ebay say "no sensor". I'm assuming I need a sensor comparable grill just by the TSS logo on truck. Again, please correct me if I'm wrong. Where can I find one? Thanks in advance.

 

You have a 2016, there are no sensors. 2018+ have a sensor in the grille.
TSS is just a Gulf Coast dealer installed appearance package.
You can put any grille that you want up to a 2021 Tundra. You do not need the sensor.

If you don’t have adaptive cruise or pre collusion warning you don’t need the sensor grill

 

Welcome to the forum.
Just so you know you can separate the surround and the grille and swap them.
It's a delicate operation, but very doable.

I'd recommend finding an old-style (without the TSS) TRD Pro grille.
I did that on my 2014 with a color-matched surround and hood bulge.



Years later added 2018+ OEM LED headlights.

If I get a TRD OEM grill, will it fit a 2016? And if so, where can I get the "Toyota" badge to put on OEM grille? Thanks

What is the "Hood Bulge" option on that page?

 

The front hood scope that’s same color as the front grill.

 

I believe this is all you would need in parts and then you would just need a body shop to color match it to your truck

Oh no kidding?? They were who I planned to finish color match on my tundra…where else would you recommend?

 

Gotcha. I’d need the TSS as well since I have a 2021. I bought mirror caps and brakes from them with no issues and shipping wasn’t bad…so interested in your opinion with them
